Wallhanging Top Finished...

I finished the top for this wall hanging this past week. I still have to do some appliqué stitching and quilt it, but this is the top so far. I did it as part of a pattern tester for the www.woodsandquilts.com website. It was so much fun to do as I was able to use only fabrics in my stash or scrap bin. I haven't done appliqué like this in a long time. Mostly it has been required fabrics and not ones that I can pick.

I have another Blog

I am in the process of creating a second blog to showcase my boutique, quilting and fiber art business. There isn't much there yet, but it is a work in progress. I am very excited about how well my quilt kits are selling on ebay. Today I talked with a local gallery owner, whose kids go to school with mine. She is looking for a fiber artist to demonstrate skills and possibly have items for sale at her gallery. I am very excited about this and will get some samples together in the next two months so I can present them to her. She is hoping to have things in place by fall for the Christmas season.

So check out my "other" blog at http://boutiquecreationsetc.blogspot.com/
